dancers from the Resonative Youth Dance Troupe

Chisholm third, fourth, and fifth grade students were treated to performances by a special Native American dance troupe recently. The Resonative Youth Dance Troupe is made up of students from PreK to 12th grade. The Dance Troupe performs Native American dances throughout the academic year at various locations.  Students involved gain confidence and pride in their Native American culture.  They are encouraged to talk about their regalia because there is history with each outfit not like any other.  The students demonstrate their particular style of dance. These students are held to the highest of standards while representing the Native American Student Services Department, Oklahoma City Public Schools, their tribes, and their families.
