Congratulations to Chisholm’s Teacher of the Year–Hannah Morgan!  Even though this is only Hannah’s 12th year of teaching second grade, she has been a Chisholm Charger for many more years.  She first came to Chisholm when she was a kindergartner!  She is now continuing the Chisholm tradition in her family with having her oldest daughter attend Chisholm, also–and the youngest daughter is not far behind in starting school.

College Degree:  Elementary Education from OSU

Favorite Part about Teaching:  I enjoy seeing growth in my students socially and academically.  I also love building relationships with my students and their families.  My teammates make coming to work each day SO FUN!  I am so thankful for the friendships I have within the building.

Why You Became a Teacher:  the influence of my former teachers

Favorite Quotes:  Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”  I also like “Learn from the mistakes of others.  You won’t live long enough to make them all yourself.”

Fun Teaching Memory:  I teach in my own former second grade classroom.  I invited my whole 2009-2010 class to our wedding!  It was wonderful!  Another favorite memory is walking in the building with my team when we were dressed as Ms. Nelson for the Storybook Parade.  No one recognized us at first!

Family Information:  I have been married to Chuck Morgan for seven years.  My daughters are Palmer, age 5, and Charlee, age 18 months.  I was born and raised in Edmond and much of my family is still close by.
